Welcome to Virginia Commonwealth University Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program!
As program director, my goal is to provide our residents with the best educational possible by offering exposure to a wide variety of obstetrics and gynecology experiences: research development which includes the annual Ware Dunn Conference; didactic educational conferences such as Practice Based Learning Conferences, Williams Gyn Chapters, ACOG Practice Bulletin conferences with the Chairman; simulation labs; and a collegial environment that allows residents to develop techniques that will make them lifelong learners.
You would be joining an outstanding group of residents who work hand-in-hand with the OB/GYN faculty members to provide excellent patient care and have the opportunity to discuss patient care issues in both formal and informal settings. Our faculty takes every opportunity to educate and to mentor our residents while nurturing the resident toward independent thinking and self-confidence.
You will receive the education and experiences you desire to reach your goals while we provide you with a solid foundation on which to build.
Please take a minute to look through our website at the information regarding our residents, our program and the city of Richmond. Afterward, if you have any questions, please contact our residency office for additional information.
